Baseball, Football, and Soccer Concessions

The primary fund raiser for the Plainfield Optimist Club are the Concession Stands operated during the Club's Baseball, Football, and Soccer Programs. Club members oversee the operation of the stands (opening, closing, ordering, caring for funds, etc.) and parents of youth participants work in the stand when their team is assigned. Funds raised support ALL youth work and community service activities of the Club.

 

 

 

 


 

Baseball Sign Advertising

Area Businesses support the Plainfield Optimist Little League Baseball Program by purchasing signs to advertise their business on the outfield fences of the baseball diamonds. Funds raised support the Baseball Program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Football Team Sponsors

Area Businesses support the Plainfield Optimist Football Program by sponsoring teams in the league. Each sponsor has their business name on the jerseys of the team they sponsor. Funds raised support the Football Program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Baseball, Football and Soccer Yearbook Sponsors

Area Businesses support the Plainfield Optimist Baseball, Football, and Soccer Programs by advertising in yearbooks for one or all of the sports programs. In addition youth participating in the respective programs solicit parents, family members, and friends for a donation to be listed as a sponsor in the program. Funds raised support the Baseball, Football, and Soccer Programs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Town of Plainfield Donation

All of the Plainfield Optimist Club's sports programs are conducted at Jim Lovell Memorial Field on property owned by Cinergy Corporation and leased (at a nominal fee) to the Optimist Club. The Club members take care of all maintenance to the facility as well as all capital improvements. In recognition of the services the town would otherwise provide if these sports programs were conducted at a town park, the Town of Plainfield makes an annual donation to the Club to be used for maintenance of the facilities, and for capital improvement projects.
