Christmas for 9 families(41) * February 24 held the 34th Youth Appreciation Banquet. 128 guest including 25 students honored. * March 3 held Oratorical Contest with 5 students in competetion. * March 17 the Club donated $500. to the Speedway Police Dept. for the Canine Program. * March 17 the Club $200. the Speedway Sports Boosters. This ad supports various sport teams. * March 6 the Club hosted 13 members of the Speedway High School Girls Basketball team at the Countdown to the finals. May 24th parked cars as a fund raiser June 5/6 Eight members volunteered at construction of a handicapped park in Wayne Township June 27 Assisted in the Respect for Law Camp by sending 9 students and providing snacks at the graduation program 1. Provided funds and assisted in the planning of the Speedway town's 2nd annual Parade. 2. Gave funds to the Speedway Fire Department's Inflatable Home which is a part of their Fire Prevention program. 3. Donated funds and labor to the Indiana's Cancer Camp for children.
