The Indiana South District Qualifying Tournament for the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships (OIJGC) will be held at Deer Creek Golf Club, Clayton, Indiana on Thursday, June 14, 2012 (Girls) and Friday, June 15, 2012 (Boys). Winners (and other participants who qualify) in each age group will be eligible to advance to the International tournament at PGA National Resort & Spa, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on July 20–29, 2012. Last year, 10 junior golfers from the Indiana South District participated in the International tournament! 

The Indiana South District will provide entry fees plus a travel allowance to the International Tournament in Florida for the Boy 16-18 winner and the Girl 15-18 winner. In addition, the District will provide full International Tournament entry fees to the Boys 14-15 and Girls 13-14 winners, and partial International Tournament entry fees for the boys 10-11, boys 12-13 and girls 10-12 District winners.  Tournament Sponsors make this possible.
